Each of Denver's Mountain Parks has its own distinct character, however it shares similarities with other parks—in audience, uses, geography, and historic integrity. These similarities offer a means of categorizing the parks for purposes of discussion and recommendations, as well as better understanding the role that each park plays in the larger system.
